IELTS EXAM PREPARATION CLASS

IELTS is no walk in the park. Known as the most popular English language test in the world, IELTS (International English Language Testing System) is taken by millions of people globally.If you have dreams of migrating overseas for work or studies in an English speaking nation, then IELTS is an absolute necessity for you. It is the only English language test accepted for immigration purposes by all countries that require one.

If this is your first time learning about this test, then you should be prepared to know that it is nothing like SPM. It is not a test that determines if you pass or fail. It is an exam that is taken to determine your proficiency in the English language. It is a form of assessment that informs future employers or authorities if you are able to communicate, adapt, and grow in a foreign English speaking country. Therefore, it is not an exam that you should underestimate or sit for it with little preparation. 

An exam with a great reputation is bound to create challenges for students. If you are facing these challenges in your IELTS preparation:

More information on IELTS:

1) What should I expect out of each paper?

Reading:

• Consists of 3 or 4 passages with 40 questions
• difficulty increases after each passage
• Duration: 60 minutes

Writing:

• Consists of writing task 1 & 2
• Task 1 requires you to write a summary on a graph, table, chart, or process diagram (Academic paper) or to write a letter (General paper).
• Task 2 requires you to write 250 words on a given topic.
• Duration: 60 minutes

Listening:

• Consists of 4 sections with 10 questions for each section.
• Duration: 30 minutes

Speaking:

• Consists of 3 parts
• Face-to-face interview with an examiner
• Duration: 11 - 14 minutes

2) Do I take all parts of the test on the same day?
The Listening, Reading and Writing components of the test are always completed immediately after each other and with no break. Depending on the test centre, you may also sit the Speaking test on the same day.

Creative® English Communication for Kids is a six-level British English communication syllabus for your child.

Creative® English Communication for Kids is pact with bright ideas to inspire your child to learn English the natural way! This six-level course gives your child a confident start to learning English, and makes lessons a fun and enjoyable activity.

Perfect for English communication, Creative® English Communication for Kids also fully covers the syllabus of the Cambridge Young Learners English (YLE) tests. English language is presented through amusing stories that your child will adore and practised with songs and interactive activities, making the learning process a delight. Key language is continuously revised and recycled through a variety of activities, helping to build your child's confidence. 

A strong focus on communicative activities ensures your child uses the language he/she has learned in a fun, 'no-pressure' context. The loveable characters in the syllabus will delight and engage your child, while an extensive range of supplementary materials provides your child with extra activities to reinforce and enhance his/her learning.

Creative® English Communication for Teenagers is a six-level British English communication syllabus for your child.

Creative® English Communication for Teenagers offers an engaging content and a strong focus on grammar and vocabulary combine to make this course a hit. This course features motivating and engaging contents, including the imaginative reading and listening topics, 'Culture in mind', and 'Everyday English'. 

Key features

• Imaginative and appealing topics engage teenagers' interest and motivate them to learn.
• Projects and writing tasks allow your child to build up his/her own language portfolios, developing independence and giving your child a practical use for the language.
• 'Culture in mind' sections give your child an insight into different aspects of culture throughout the English-speaking world.
